The Personalized Learning Program provides an innovative and enjoyable learning environment that embraces the personal learning style of all students. Students will have the opportunity to develop their natural talents and to become productive life-long learners who are responsible citizens in a global society.

Here's a glance of some of the great things happening in PLP.

Educators from Erie High visited Valley New School in Appleton WI and TAGOS Leadership Academy in Janesville WI last Thursday and Friday. These schools are nationally recognized PBL schools. The day-long immersion visit provided the team with innovative tools for the Personalized Learning Program such as student project proposals, integration of various subjects into projects, and evaluation instruments. The schools were also helpful in advising how to provide a focused academic culture and provided a variety of student resources. The team consisted of Mary Hines, Dr. Kathleen Lewis, Rose Fry, Noah Francis and incoming superintendent Steve Woolf. The opportunity was made possible by a Perkins Grant .
